A passion should always have a purpose and blessings should be shared!

In 2005, we launched Divas For A Cure "DFAC". Divas For A Cure "DFAC" is not a motorcycle club. DFAC is a non-profit public benefit corporation. We participate in various local and national awareness programs throughout the year. Distributing breast cancer awareness brochures and networking with other cancer survivors and community based organizations.

In 2006 our Breast Cancer Motorcycle Run and the collective efforts of all our participants raised $25,000.00. In 2007, we raised $50,000.00. Each year these proceeds are donated to Breast Cancer Research in October. We hope that you will consider joining us in our efforts.

Divas For A Cure was founded by Jan Emanuel-Costley out of a very personal experience. Although breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in California, the chance of survival when diagnosed early like Jan is as high as 95%.

Divas For A Cure is dedicated to promoting early detection, education, screenings and supporting research organizations to continue the quest to one day find a cure and eradicating cancers of all kinds. Proceeds from this ride will be dedicated towards the goal of health fairs and educational materials, wig donations for women enduring chemotherapy, mobile breast exams into segments of society that do not ordinarily seek or receive medical attention due to socioeconomic conditions. It is with your generous support, that DFAC will be a success. Your business or corporation has the opportunity to not only support the DFAC, but benefit from promotional association of the event. In addition, sponsors will benefit from onsite promotion, extensive cross-country media exposure and community representation.

We are all volunteers at Divas For A Cure - there are NO Paid Salaries for the DFAC Board of Directors or DFAC Core Group Riders and/or Participants, therefore $.90 of every dollar we raise actually goes to the Breast Cancer Research Fund.
